This is a start of a new beginning

First off, shout out to Chelsie Whitney for doing this for me! She is wonderful and I loved that she took the time to do this to me. Check her blog HERE!

Second, I "stole" the idea. A mutual friend of mine and Chelsie has the cute blog and I love reading it. Check out another Sista's blog HERE!

I will be leaving for the MTC in APPROXIMANTLY 2 months. What the heck?? If you know me, you know that I anticipated that I would be leaving in October or something. This is the Lord's time! I want to thank everyone who has been so great. Calling all the people who I care about to share with them the news were so excited. Without all of you, I would have doubted myself. It was so great to open my call at 8am with my family (dad on the phone). Little did we forget it was Grandma D's birthday and I will be serving in her mission, HAPPY BIRTHDAY GRANDMA! So this is the blog that will have my letters and experiences. I know we live in a busy world but I am hoping if people don't write, they will at least check in here every now and then.

These next few months are going to be crazy. They are going to be rushed it seems. I am going to make my rounds and say my "See ya laters" ( I am no good at goodbyes!). I will cry, a lot. I will ponder a lot. I will even say hello to some recently returned RM's and then I am off. These next few months I hope to cease to be idle. It's time to crack down! I have been reading my scriptures so much more! It is amazing to think I will be preaching those words. I have been mentally and emotionally preparing myself. I might even start waking up early. Oh golly. Well, that is it for now. I have to go get ready for work. Since I have my call, it seems like the little things cannot get to me and I am going to strive for them not to. I will continue my Pre-Mission Life blog but I will update this more as I get to milestones preparing myself to get going (temple, traveling, mtc depature).

"And this is the blessing which hath been bestowed upon us, that we have been made instruments in the hands of God to bring about this great work". -Alma 26:3
