Back to Daytona

Hello Everyone,

What a crazy week! It feels like its been two months. Sister Cuthbert went home because of sickness. So I am back in Daytona for the week with Sister Beckert and Schmidt. It is the weirdest thing. I feel like I am lost and I am not really understanding what is going on.

So back up....

Sister Cuthbert is amazing! She was orginally suppose to go to Fiji but while in the MTC she got sick. Her stomach did something like charlie horses. She got every test in the book done to her and they couldnt find anything wrong with her. She got approved to come back out and in this trasnfer she started getting sick again, but it got worse. President and Sister Hall got right to work getting the help she needed. Last week, we couldnt do anything and it was so hard to watch Sister Cuthbert in so much pain. It made me think of the Atonement and how Christ suffered for us and though I couldnt do anything for Sister Cuthbert in the moment, I knew Heavenly Father knew her and was comforting her. She made the decision to go home because she didnt think it would get better. I love Sister Cuthbert so very much. I have been thinking about why it had to happen and all this stuff. This last trasnfer has been so rough but in the end, I feel heavenly Father's love so much. We learned this weekend, success is about stepping out of our comfort zone and doing what Heavenly Father commands us to do.

I am graetful for Sister Cuthbert. She taught me love. She is a great gal and she is going to do some powerful things in her future. So in my last week I am in Daytona. Its weird but I am really praying and looking for how I can contribute to this area, one last time.

I love you all. Keep the Faith.

Sister Ploth.

Sunrises and Inspirations.

Hello All!!

This morning we saw the beautiful sunrise in Ormond Beach! Sister Cuthbert and I planned a sunrise service. It was great to see Heavenly Father's painting right in the morning. We woke up at 5:15 and carvaned over to Ormond to be there at 6:30am and we were there until about 8:30am. It was a wonderful last district prep day.

The first picture was taken by Sister Beckert and its ME catching a football. the Elders were nice enough to let me throw it around for a few minutes. One gentlemen on the beach said to Elder Wright that it was the funniest thing to watch a girl try to play. how rude! But that's okay, look at this picture!! EPIC!

Second picture is of the whole district right after the sunrise. Pretty good looking group! I love these Elders and Sisters so much! I learn a lot from them and they inspire me to be better.

This week, what an adventure. We had the car which was sweet but we still biked a lot. We picked up a few people to teach. Unfortunately, they haven't called us back. I love the teaching funnel. You just push people through it until someone sticks. We met a lot more members this week and tried to get to know them and serve them. Nothing yet but we will keep trying. On Friday we had dinner with a Sister in the ward. She is amazing. She has done a lot and she was inspiring. She let us know we can do whatever we want, we just have to work hard for it. Something she said that stuck out to me was, "You can have all you want, you just cannot have it all at once." Which is so true! We can have all we want, but it will take time.

For this upcoming week, I will be hitting my official 18 month mark! holy cow! time goes so fast. In ZTM this week I realized that it was coming to an end, at least to this chapter. I also got my info for my flight home and holy cow. so crazy!

Well I hope y'all have a great week! Keep praying for us here in Port Orange!

Love always.
Sister Ploth

Days Like this, I will miss.

Hello All!!

I hope you had a great great week! We did! We had zone conference. An excellent time to be trained on the work. I was also able to give my departing testimony. That day came way to fast. As I stood at the pupilt and saw the Elders and Sisters I have come to love and respect I knew that this has been the best 18 months of my life and I dont regert a sing moment of it! Every rejection and sadness was worth the miralces and the growth. As I come to an end I puzzle what I can write baout but I want to share about this picture attatched...

This was taken Tuesday, Feb 16th. We were off on our bikes, It was kinda gloomy but not rainy YET! Soon it started pouring but we were on our way to bless homes on a road about 2 miles away. We had the faith we would find and we felt like it would be a good day. When we got to the road, Chipmunk Trail, we discovered that it had 3 houses on it and no one was home! Here we are soaking wet but still happy and singing. We started knocking on the road next to it. No one was feeling it. We found a drunk man who likes mormons but we is fine. Then we knocked on the door of a lady named Dorothy, she is 101 years old! She let us pray with her and said we could back (that is a different story). We then jumped on our bikes to head up and boy oh boy the rain is harder. We got home to clean up. Our 3:30 and only invesitgoatr cancels. ACK! We have service at 4 for the RS President which was fun and then we went to the RS activity. As you can see, everything fell through, nothing was accomplished through our key indiactors. Northing miracleous happened but it was days like this that I realized how much I would miss being a Repersenative of Jesus Christ. What a blessing and I am excited to finish this off with Sister Cuthbert by my side! Keep praying for us! WE NEED A MIRACLE!!!

love always.
Sis Ploth.
