I'll go where the Lord wants me to go....

Hello All. Well the day has come, I am leaving Lake Mary and going to Eustis. It is known to be really country but high baptismal rate in the mission. I am excited and nervous. Not really sure what to do. Not excited to pack. Sister Christensen is training so a new missionary will be coming here. I love Lake Mary and I will miss it but I am ready to make some new memories and go where the Lord needs me.

This week has been weird. Sister Christensen got the call Tuesday she would be training so I have known for awhile I am leaving. But the Lord kept us busy. Lots of biking. Lots of sweat. Lots of new potential investigators. We finished "mormon.org"ing the leadership. Tons of fun. The members just love it!

Brother Eng gave an awesome talk about Member work. I hope you are all being awesome member missionaries!! The Lord will bless you!!

All of our investigators were sick this week. Keep them in your prayers!! I was sick this week, it was bad. Not too bad but I felt like dying. Elder Bednar has a great talk in this month's Ensign about praying not to change our circusmtances but pray to be able to endure them. Well I did that and the Lord helped me bike my booty off! He also prepared me to be full car now. Pray I wont expand!!

Well I need to finish/start packing. Missionaries collect a lot of crap. yuck!!

I cant attach a picture this week. But watch out for next week!!

love always,
Sister Ploth

We were PEEP'D!

Hello Everyone West of the Mississippi and everyone else who isn't....

I just want you all to know how REAL the Spirit is! I am learning to listen to the promptings of the Spirit!  Thursday was an awesome example. We had planned to go see Stephanie and she requested for a blessing. Well we couldn't get anyone from the Ward so we asked the Spanish Elders if they could. That morning during personal studies I wanted to look up scriptures for blessings, I turned to True to The Faith under "Priesthood" nothing was helping. I looked through the scriptures. Nothing seemed to click. Suddenly I hear in my head, "Look under laying on of hands in True to the Faith" BAM! The perfect scripture,
James 5:14-15 14 Is any sick among you? let him call for the Elders of the church; and let them pray over him, anointing him with oil in the name of the Lord:
15 And the prayer of faith shall save the sick, and the Lord shall raise him up; and if he have committed sins, they shall be forgiven him.
We called upon the Elders and they did that. It was one of the most beautiful blessings I have ever heard! I didnt want it to stop. It was such a testimony that these Elders are called of God and they were only the mouthpiece showing Heavenly Father's love. Heavenly Father loves Stephanie and knows of her needs. I hope we will continue to be able to see her divine nature.

We took Ashley (Brandon's girlfriend) on a Temple Tour. She is so great! I love her!!

We are seeing so many miracles. We are finding lots of new people to teach and the ward is amazing! The members want to help and I have loved serving them. I have learned that these relationships are important we make out here.

Funniest thing: I made mashed potatoes IN A BLENDER this week!! ahaha. What can I say, missionaries are creative.

The second picture attatched..oh man we have some of the BEST Spanish elders! Elders Klekas and Knapp are wonderful. On Sunday they stuck into our apartment and hid 45 peeps!! We found all, but one!! AAAHHH!! We found them everyone!! Funniest thing in the world!

Well I love you all!! If I haven't written you, don't worry! I will!! I am trying. Its just been so crazy lately! Keep us in your prayers!!

The Lord's work will go forth boldly, nobly, and independent!!

love always.
Sister Ploth.

njefhiewhnkg

Well this is going to be quick, hopefully it makes sense. We have new workers in the office at our complex and they always want to kick us off. Apparently people surfing on facebook is more important than missionaries emailing once a week to their families.

Whatevs.

HELLO WORLD!

How is everyone? I am doing great! What another awesome week. We went on a funky exchange this week. I went to college park on Wednesday with Sister Poulsen and then staying in Lake Mary on Thursday with Sister Morris. Very exciting. The FOM has some awesome Sisters.

We picked up a few new investogators. One family! Very exciting! We scrubbed the Soto's floor. That was neat. We are doing lots of service. So if you ever need anything hit up the missionaries! I am learning about SIMPLE testimonies. That people will try to knock you down but just dont let them. Its really sad when Christians want to tear down other Christians. Being on a mission has helped me learn to love everyone, no matter what. Also to be grateful. There are a lot of people who dont have much and I have just the right amount.

No investigators at church. rats. Keep us in your prayers we are working hard and trying our best!

Well I love you all! Thanks for the AWESOME emails! Keep the faith!! Remember the Lord is on control of this work and it wont stop!!

love always.
Sister Ploth.

We EGG'd the leadership!

Hello Everyone!

I hope you had a great Easter! We did here in Lake Mary.

This week was great, as always. A little slow. Definalty keep us in your prayers to find people who are prepared. We are looking out for them. This week a rude guy (a southern religion i wont name but are known to be rude down here) told me and Sister Christensen we were going to hell this week. That was so hard. And just in case you are wondering, I did cry, not in front of him. It was more of tears of frustration. Its hard when people attack you and dont care to hear and are rude. We live in a world that is so hostile. Its hard to talk to everyone you see when you get reactions like that!!

BUT the work goes on! Brandon was confirmed yesterday, AWESOME. He is doing wonderfully. We are taking Ashley on a temple tour on the 18th. I am going BACK to college park (singles ward) for exchanges this week. ugh!

About the Subject line...on Saturday we cut out eggs and went around and put them on people's door in the ward. Kind of like heart attacking. it was so fun. Sister Gove caught us and we screamed, she screamed. hahah. But it was  success. I got the idea from Boo'ing in Mays Pond. (:

Well I hope you are all doing well. Keep being awesome!! I am loving the support!! You all ROCK!

love always. Sister Ploth.

P.S. CONGRATS TO KAILEY AND JEFF FRAIZER!!  Tucker Kai Frazier is so adorable! Thanks Mal for the pictures! If people want, you can send me pictures at this address: aisha.ploth@myldsmail.net.

General Conference Weekend and Easter Coming up.

Hello All!

I hope you recvieve the much needed personal revelation from this past weekend's General Conference, I know I did! If you havent checked it out or if you want to still.... http://www.lds.org/general-conference/sessions/2012/04?lang=eng
Brandon LOVED Priesthood. What a great guy!!!

I am excited to print out the Priesthood Session. I heard President Uchtdorf was LEGIT with straight up Doctrine! One thing I learned this weekend is that Christ's Doctrine isn't an opinion. We all have a personal relationship with Heavenly Father and Jesus Christ BUT we all have to abide by the same laws and way of life in order to receive exhaltation. Again, GC blew my mind. Superbowl for Missionaries. It added to my testimony that God IS the same and He sent us a modern day propeht to understand His will. We can all recive personal revelation but as a world we need to know the will of God. Moses, Noah, Daniel, Abraham. What great men! God loves me and you so much He sent us His chosen. I also gained a testimony of the hymns. I never thought I would love church music as I do now. Also, Hilary Weeks (a LDS artist) has an amazing CD out, its all her "hits". Living Proof is my favorite. It helps me know that I am a Daughter of God. He knows me and loves me.

Now with Easter coming up, I have been thinking all morning what I can send to you all. Well its easy My Testimony of a Living Christ.
I know the Jesus Christ is my personal Savior. He knows me and loves (like all of you). His INFINITE Atonement was so that the bands of death could be loosed. We aren't accountable for Adam's transgressions but for our own sins. But how could we overcome them? Simple... Gospel of Jesus Christ which includes: Faith in Jesus Christ and His Atonement, Repentance, Baptism, Receiving the Gift of the Holy Ghost, and Enduring to the End. With these things combined we will stand at the judgement bar and Christ WILL plead for us. I know of my HEAVENLY Father's love because I know of my EARTHLY Father's love. My earthly father (in my case, both) pretty much think I am a big deal so imagine what my Heavenly Father thinks of me. Jesus Christ lives. He suffered, died, and He showed Himself unto the people of Jerusalem AND the American Continent (record of the BOM). And because He loves us TODAY He appeared to a humble boy, Joseph Smith and restore His Church. I am grateful for the Gospel but Specifically I am grateful for the Savior. He risked it all  and He knew what had to be done. He was immortal but when through the pain so I dont have to suffer. I hope you all feel of my love for Him. And I hope you all remember the reason we celebrate Easter.

10 And behold, he shall be aborn of Mary, at bJerusalem which is the cland of our forefathers, she being a dvirgin, a precious and chosen vessel, who shall be overshadowed and econceive by the power of the Holy Ghost, and bring forth a son, yea, even the Son of God.

11 And he shall go forth, suffering pains and aafflictions and btemptations of every kind; and this that the word might be fulfilled which saith he will ctake upon him the pains and the sicknesses of his people.

12 And he will take upon him adeath, that he may bloose the bands of death which bind his people; and he will take upon him their infirmities, that his bowels may be filled with mercy, according to the flesh, that he may know according to the flesh how to csuccor his people according to their infirmities.

13 Now the Spirit aknoweth all things; nevertheless the Son of God suffereth according to the bflesh that he might ctake upon him the sins of his people, that he might blot out their transgressions according to the power of his deliverance; and now behold, this is the testimony which is in me.

14 Now I say unto you that ye must arepent, and be born again; for the Spirit saith if ye are not born again ye cannot inherit the kingdom of heaven; therefore come and be baptized unto repentance, that ye may be washed from your sins, that ye may have faith on the Lamb of God, who taketh away the sins of the world, who is mighty to save and to cleanse from all unrighteousness.

15 Yea, I say unto you come and fear not, and lay aside every sin, which easily doth abeset you, which doth bind you down to destruction, yea, come and go forth, and show unto your God that ye are willing to repent of your sins and enter into a covenant with him to keep his commandments, and witness it unto him this day by going into the waters of baptism.

16 And whosoever doeth this, and keepeth the commandments of God from thenceforth, the same will aremember that I say unto him, yea, he will remember that I have said unto him, he shall have eternal life, according to the testimony of the Holy Spirit, which testifieth in me.

17 And now my beloved brethren, do you believe these things? Behold, I say unto you, yea, I know that ye believe them; and the way that I know that ye believe them is by the manifestation of the Spirit which is in me. And now because your faith is strong concerning that, yea, concerning the things which I have spoken, great is my joy.

Moses 4:
But, behold, my Beloved aSon, which was my Beloved and bChosen from the beginning, said unto me—cFather, thy dwill be done, and the eglory be thine forever.

all my love,
Sister Aisha Ploth.

Week 1 DONE. (Transfer 5)

HELLO EVERYBODY!

The work is great in Lake Mary! Brandon was baptized yesterday! It only took 5 times, but who is counting. Funniest baptism I have ever seen.Wes baptized him (my first baptism) so he was nervous.  I was laughing so hard my kidneys were hurting ! Sister Christensen was praying so hard. What confused me was Mom was 9 months pregnant with Kai when she was baptized, and from what I can remember it was pretty smooth.  Afterwards Brandon bore the sweetest testimony.  Brandon was prepared. He was an "easy baptism" because he was prepared. He took everything so well. He confidently proclaimed that he knows there is a Prophet and the Church is true. It was amazing. While bearing his testimony he shared how hard it was for him while we met with him because he wasnt sure. The weird thing is, he never shared that with us! He was always smiling! Always asking questions! The Spirit was ALWAYS there. He is a great example. I am excited to see him grow in the Gospel. His girlfriend, Ashley, came to church with us. She is great! I adore her. She also went to the Relief Society Birthday on Thursday. She has sat in on a few lessons, so we will see what happens.

On Friday we got to do a Homeless Connect Project in Orlando. We helped Homeless people get help with free medical care and other things like getting IDS and showers and food. Some of the people were so nice others, not so nice. IT WAS FREE! It was very humbling. Made me more grateful for what I have. It was cool to do. The weird thing though was we didnt stay with out companions. I was by myself! First time in 6 months walking by myself or even just with Elders! I made sure I could always see a missionary.

Well Conference is coming up! I hope you all enjoy it! Listen and learn! How privileged are we to have a modern day Prophet to tell us the will of God!!

I love you all!! Have a great week!

love,
Sister Ploth.

Transfer 5....Where am I going???

Hello Everyone! Well the verdict is in...I AM STAYING IN LAKE MARY!

I am going to start off with a joke....ready?
Whats black and white and green and black and white?.... TWO ZEBRAS FIGHTING OVER A PICKLE!! hahaha. A little girl in our ward told us that last night and I thought it was funniest thing I have ever heard! okay lets get serious

Things are going great! We are finding a lot of people. Now its just getting them to keep their appointments. So many cancel or they want to meet late at night. This next week our nights are BOOKED! Brandon, David, and Mike came to church this Sunday! Brandon is on track for his baptism this weekend, March 25th (HAPPY 18TH BIRTHDAY LITTLE BROTHER DREWP!!!) He is really excited. We took him to Longwood's baptism on Saturday and he loved it. I am so excited for him. On Sunday he walked out of Elders Quorum with a bunch of guys saying, "Who's going to baptism me???" haha. Wes Copeland (Recent Convert) will be the one. We are working on getting it to be special. We have listened to Brandon with who he likes and have talked to our Ward Council. It has been a great experience. My goal is to never talk at a baptism while on a mission, its not my job, its the Ward's.
Mike is doing awesome! We just got a text that he is listening to the BOM because he isnt a big reader. He is so cool. Yesterday he asked about fasting because he feels like he should fast. How cool!!

Sister Cruz and Jordan came to church!! Seeing them walk in was great! They loved it. Jordan is really growing and learning, we just need to keep that fire burning. Now we talk to him about missions. He seems to be interested.

I am excited for this transfer. I need to learn something since I am still here!

love, Sister Ploth.

P.S. I am not sure if I already wrote back Ashley Balmforth or Tara Denkers, so...let me know?? (:
